A room with a view

Operation done - sore and stiff, and very slow to move anywhere, so shuffling between the bathroom and bed is the only activity. The view from the ward is not fantastic - just the campus of the hospital, but with the tantalising glimpse of the mountains in the distance. This is our only snow, despite the south of the UK being covered. It looks cold outside - better to stay in here.
