Evening chorus

This blackbird always perches in the same place in the garden to sing the day in and out. I’ve had a few failed attempts at getting a photo in the morning, due to the position of the sun, but this one was taken just now (early evening) and I’ve whacked up the light.

A good day today, including a successful Sainsbury’s mission and drop-off to Mum and Dad, which involved a pleasant drive on quiet country roads, and then a brisk walk round the village at lunchtime.
