Warm glow

A better day in my head than yesterday, thank goodness. I decided I could do nothing constructive by worrying about a particular issue, that the positives far outweighed the negatives and that I should bake a carrot cake.

The cake looks great. Sadly the oil I used was slightly/well over its sell by date so it tastes a bit odd. Nothing a bit of butter and jam on it won't cure (my sort of creative cookery).

Berry has such nice eyes now; softer and responsive and not the wild, glary look I was getting.
