Whenever I've bought tulips, they've never lased very long. Two weeks ago I bought a bunch of reduced price tulips, I wasn't expecting them to last long but that didn't matter as I only had one reason for buying them.

I froze two of them and put the rest in a vase on the kitchen window sill, sixteen days later I decided it was time to throw them out. As I lifted them out of the vase, these three petals fell off one of the flowers and i liked how they lay.
