Behind the picket fence

Spotted on my walk this morning.The box is a micronode, a component of the NBN (National Broadband Network). They are appearing along our streets to help boost the ‘Fibre to the Node’ service. Not everybody is happy about having a box outside their home, but this is the first time I have seen an attempt to beautify one. Great to see the 1950s picket fence being reused but, as always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder! It brought a smile to my face on my solitary walk.
