Dust baths!
I know it is a really awful picture, but it was one of a very few I took today.
Mr U&L has been gardening, and where he has cut back the shrubs the soil is becoming very dry and dusty - which hardly seems possible considering how wet it was just a couple of weeks ago!
After he had given up and come back inside the sparrows all decided to have a dust bath. They were really fascinating to watch - even if they did squabble loads!!

Our garden ! and I am sure I will be saying this a lot in the weeks to come.
Our resident colony of House sparrows who keep us amused with their antics.
