Throwback Thursday!

Throwback Thursday... with memories of Voronezh 1989-1990 being very much in the forefront of my mind,  I revisited my beetroot soup recipe I created back then. We obviously didn’t have passata, but I know I added tomatoes.
It did not meet the approval of my Soviet room mates, they felt grating the beetroot and adding tomatoes was heresy, but I like it.
