Rest in peace, little one

Spotted on my way to the shop. A peregrine falcon has taken up residence in the vicinity so I'm wondering if that was the culprit. 

I think it's a juvenile whinchat.  Correctly ID'd as a redwing (thanks Chamaeleo). Poor little thing.  

Quiet day. Felt tired and flat.
