Over the Hill
Like ships passing in the night, we had a work handover in the lane-Paul having a slightly early finish to his wretched and thoroughly exhausting 12 hour night shift thanks to Andrew and heading for bed while I was heading in to cover the morning. I did get my Key worker letter today from our Chief Exec-basically a standard photocopied letter with no name on it-it was dated April Fool's Day. Staff huddle at work-not really huddling like penguins though as we tried to maintain social distancing. The news was broken to staff that the Clinical Commissioning Group has been told by the government that GPs have to open on Good Friday and Easter Monday-it's a good job none of us have any plans for Easter because of the lockdown as many of us will now be required to work. Home to spend a bit of time in the garden and tackle the washing pile then Caitlin suggested a walk. We all headed off up the hill behind the house and tried to relax a little.
