Cactus

I assume another blipper will know the name of this cactus, I at least have no clue.

The cactus has currently only one bloom, but many will soon blossom and make this peaky thing look beautiful.

Perhaps all cacti do, at least this one closed the flower towards the end of the day, when the sun did not shine into our window. I am anxious to see it open again tomorrow. No muscles, but still moving the petals.
