After the snow, the floods?

Went for a walk by the river at Evesham this afternoon - the snow has just about gone today but clearly it has all melted and joined the River Avon as it has burst its banks.

You can see the top of a rubbish bin almost fully submerged and what looks like a metal bar to the left of that is in fact the top of a bench! We managed to walk down the other side of the river too but did have to clamber up the bank near Evesham Rowing Club as the path is nearly completely submerged there.

Just have to hope for a dry spell..
