Magnolia

Yet another pleasant surprise in our new garden, one of our bushes has turned out to be a Magnolia.  We had seen the buds developing on this bush but we were not sure what it was until they burst open.

I ventured down into the town this morning to buy some milk and vegetables.  The shops were very quiet and everyone was behaving impeccably re social distancing.  Of course while I was down there I couldn't resist popping in to Higginsons for some steak and the Bakers for some fruit pies.
