Sirocco blowing with dust

Today the wind blew from the South and it's a warm wind, blowing in lots of dust from the Sahara; Libya is only some 400 kms South from Crete.

Rain and cold temps were foretold, but they struck the mainland of Greece.... all North of Crete. Here we're covered in dust and Southern winds, what's called the Sirocco.

those windswept trees are in front of Sweetheart's house on the army field.

thank you all for reacting upon yesterday's cat-blip. She walked across the veranda here and looked both sad and hungry... I haven't got a clue where her kittens live or not, at least she's got a propper meal then.
