Sunlight through white blossom

Sloe blossom.  

Made some chewy date squares with a packet of some rather dried up dates I found in the back of the  larder and fortunately I had a fresh carton of Apple and Pear Spread and some porridge oats.  T was delighted as they were his favourite when he was small.  (The dates were more recent than that!)

Various welcome phone calls.  Also the father of my cousin in Sherborne died this morning, and also the mother of a friend in the village - neither of them had the virus I am glad to say but so difficult for the families not to be able to comfort the widowed or to plan a funeral/cremation  and be there with them.
