The Sun came out today

Although it was only through variable cloud. The solar disc looks quiet apart from two tiny sunspots on the left of the image, but this is because of the image degradation caused by the cloud 'filter'. In actual fact there are numerous sunspot groups, albeit fairly small, scattered across the surface. I will endeavour to get clearer and more interesting images in due course - promise!
