A good rest after a good run. A good Saturday. The sun was out. Lots of cleaning, lots of laundry. Kevin has been slow cooking a pheasant stew for three days; mushrooms, garlic, leeks, celery, pheasant. We had it tonight with riced cauliflower. It was amazing. Then we watched “You Can’t Take It With You” 1938 screwball comedy with Lionel Barrymore. It is so good and I think very relevant to the present. Also you laugh your socks off. Some outdated stereotypes but overall the sentiment is good. We need to have happy endings.
