The pigeons own Broad Street

Another cycle into town for my daily exercise, the reverse route this time. I loved these pigeons happily pecking their way across Broad Street with only a few cyclists to get in their way. There is never a huge amount of vehicle traffic here, but there should be a lot more than in this photo. The extra is the Westgate shopping centre, which on a Sunday afternoon would usually be packed with shoppers. I was just too late to get the guy doing wheelies on his bike down the far side, which would have made a great shot, but he was already on his way out.
