city wall

Washed a kitchen window, then took a stroll in empty streets. I did not have to keep social distance because there was no body there. I ate my banana sitting on the bench at the Hutton memorial. The one with the plaque about 'no vestige of a beginning, no prospect of an ending'. The little memorial overlooks a block of student accommodation. Lots of windows with airers and mobiles and stickers and personal belongings. The universities might be shut, but it appears that there are a whole bunch of students with no where else to go. Shared kitchens, shared gyms, shared association areas. It must be almost impossible to self isolate or keep any kind of distance.

Home to music, and the internet, and a dvd. Noodles for tea. A working week ahead.
