Toy du Jour

Second Friday for diapered one's daycare was extremely productive. No hard labor for him today. We colored, made more balloons, practiced words, learned that pictures in books are representations of three dimensional objects, and that men have inferior navigational skills, women are mechanically inclined, can be pilots AND often save the day. Yesssss!!!!

Vocabulary in addition to last week's: jooph (juice), tay (tent-we made one from the dining room table and a sheet), fhaiii (fire), cala (color), mai (mine), nada (another), and bah-loo-an (an improvement over last week for balloon) The mimicking my every move is in full swing now, which is incredibly entertaining.

For movie date night with his two sisters, we watched Pirates and A Bugs Life. Wisest 4.5 year old quote during the grasshoppers' anthill invasion scene in Bug's Life: one shouldn't pick up a baby by its head like that. Indeed.
