The rain held off - almost

Risked a little "r-alk" as Deb and I call it - part walk, part run. This was taken on the path to the "chinese bridge" at Derwentwater - it's the first time we've been able to get along that path in months, as it's been flooded most of the winter. Water levels are pretty low again now.

All the car parks in the Lakes are now closed, with logs across the entrances of all the National Trust car parks. Given that it is forecast a sunny weekend, the crowds are keeping well away (unlike parks in London).

Despite the forecast, the ralk was mostly cloudy, but dry - until we got about a mile from home, when it started raining. Pretty good timing on the whole though.
