Les dents du midi by moonlight

This morning did not start well - a 4 am rising is not good! breakfast (seeds, nuts and fruit) at home before the taxi to the airport. we got there so quickly there was tme to spend enjoying breakfast of bacon and eggs. Then at the gate the airline staff apologised that they could not print a boarding card for me - why I asked? Because we have upgraded you!! My lucky day and another breakfast in business class en route for Geneva. Three breakfasts before 9 30 am!! Wow!

No queues on arrival? Traveling is not supposed to work this smoothly... Train to Aigle and a short walk to see Movana and her new baby Jeremie in hospital before bringing them home. I will spare you photos of the baby. I'm not the first grandpa!

But tonight the moon is full and the skies over Villars are clear. The dents glow softly in the moon's reflected sunlight and below the lights of Montet twinkle in the valley. It is magical here - a portal to another world as one friend put it.
