Low Moss

After struggling home last night, the roads round Keswick were much clearer today, although over towards Penrith, the snow continued through the night, and was pretty deep this morning.

I spent a couple of hours after lunch with a local lad who climbs with Mike, but is also keen on photography, he came round with his camera, and a memory stick of pictures, which I gave him some feedback on, then took him out for an hours photography, I didn't expect calm water over the lakes, so we popped up to Castlerigg for an hour.

Just to the east of Derwentwater lies Low Moss, just north and east of the better known Walla Crag, but shot from the area surrounding Castlerigg, it makes a good mid-ground against a stormy sky, and some grasses sticking through the snow.
