Skating Ducks and Shaking Dog

Sunshine streaming in this morning, but didn't get out with M for a blipping walk until late afternoon. Very grateful that icy pavements were melting, but must admit to feeling sad that the snow is going, well, gone, as it is pouring rain now...

Saw these ducks skating across frozen Blackroot Pool - they were very funny. And standing in the middle of the Pool, a flock of seagulls - which always strikes me as strange, as we are about as far from the sea as it's possible to get in the UK.

Also, a dog, which raced down and straight into the water, which he was surprised to discover was actually ice... too thin to hold him, he crashed through and couldn't get out because it was slippery - the owners were sliding around trying to get down to him. So my hero went to the rescue and saved the day.
