Day 19 - Statue at Twickenham Rugby Stadium

Cycled past the Twickenham Stadium today, a deserted plaza outside the stadium. The impressive statue was unveiled in 2010. It is 27 feet tall and was created by the sculptor Gerald Laing. Engraved around the bottom are the five core values of rugby union - teamwork, respect, discipline, enjoyment and sportsmanship. I also went past The Stoop, Harlequins rugby ground...see extra photo.

Tasks
- sorted out new Ikea mattresses
- delivered new clogs to grandchildren, as part of exercise routine
