meandering under the moon

When we camp, we tend to walk down to the water just before bedtime and then head back to the tent for hot chocolate. As the children are camping (indoors) they joined me for an evening walk and we went to check out the bendy tree and throw stones in the river. They remembered about hot chocolate on the way home and rang Daddy to make a request - he was a willing bartender. Meanwhile I resisted having my camping rations of wine as I can’t pretend it’s a necessity for sleep in the comfort of my king size bed! I’m intrigued to see how many nights they want to sleep in the tent.

Gratefuls:

1. The (slightly obsessive) joy of knitting;
2. Chattering children under a shiny moon;
3. Being so close to the hills.
