Doyle & Naboo

We adopted these two siblings from a neighborhood rescue organization just after we'd moved into the house. I'd filled out a very rigorous adoption questionnaire one evening online, the very next morning I received a call asking if we'd like to drop by in a couple of hours and meet some cats. Off we went to the foster home, which turned out to be only a few blocks away, to find the two kittens, as they were then, leaping around the living room playing. And that, as they say, was that. We got another thorough going over from the foster family and were deemed fit to take the cats home! That was 5 years ago.

From what I could gather, their mother and her litter of 4 kittens were abandoned. It's not clear what happened to their mother but the 4 kittens made it; Naboo, Doyle, and two brothers. The brothers, both jet black, not the tabby markings of these two, were adopted out separately. Naboo and Doyle were very closely bonded and separating them was out of the question, so my quest for a pair to join the household was a perfect match.

Little Ms. Doyle is the brave one, she's tiny, into everything, with a huge personality, creative, talkative, and extremely possessive of me. Naboo is a big strong guy but is so very timid and easily frightened. Once trust has been earned then he's the most lovable and easy going cat I have ever met.

This chair gets the late afternoon sun (when there is sun) so this is a regular nap spot for these two at around 3 p.m.
