Escape!

My daily outing so far has been pottering with Little Dog - it's not really been exercise. So today, Little Dog is getting a shorter walk with Rich, and I managed to have a short outing.  A very fine one.

A lot of people who see the coronavirus through are going to be much fitter given the amount of people out on bikes on a weekday.  It was good to see everyone giving space to other riders and a pleasure to find lengthy roads of barely anyone.  That's tough on foot on our lanes at the minute.

This lone walker had spotted two birds of prey on the skyline and was enjoying his moment too.

I've since enjoyed a telephone tour of our Burley Buddies' garden.  It's not easy to have your only bits of independence taken away.  One of them sneaked to the shops the other day but I wholly understood.  We laughed together about the feelings of stir craziness, surreality and forgetfulness.  I rather enjoyed hearing about the rhubarb, the flowers in bud and the bees starting to visit their beautiful little haven.

We all need to escape sometimes.
