Meals on Wheels

I did a delivery for the local foodbank this morning.  They've got it very well organised.  The Council "virtual" foodbank asks volunteers to go to the supermarket with a shopping list and then deliver the stuff.  This church foodbank orders basic things like bread, milk and eggs from local suppliers (helping to keep them in business). To this is added whatever they have had donated.  Volunteers pick up a couple of bags of stuff from the church, along with a contact name and phone number and a map of where the family live.  You hand the stuff over in return for a chitty, and that's it.
