24/7

The Current Mrs Creel has had to scale back on her Olympic preparations.  Therefore, once again, we spent the whole day in the garden.  CMC started planting seeds in the polytunnel and making preparations for the tattles.

I did as I was told (it’s beginning to dawn on me).

From the garden we saw the first Bonxie of the season,  seven Eiders, twenty three Long-tailed Ducks, a classic barreling and rolling display by a Raven, several Common Gulls, two Blackbirds, one Robin, one Pied Wagtail, a Pheasant, a Curlew, Black Guillemots, two Hares and exactly twenty Gt Northern Divers in quite a tight group.

News comes in from my Stromness Stringer that the young boy recently taken on as an apprentice butcher at Fletts is obsessed with the music of Neil Crossley and Nigel Blackwell.
