Red Letter Day

I am informed that this is a Blip Birthday. I can't work out why but, hey!, lets go with it.

So we went out in the sunshine for a walk up to Mortonhall Golf Course and up to the radio masts (see map), and around the course, from which we had fine view of Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags (extra 1) over Blackford Hill, then down past the clubhouse.

Along the way we saw several interpretations of the rainbow, in support of the NHS, I particularly like this one, in extra 2.

Then later S came round with two bags of shopping, including a couple of bottles of wine (which will keep Mr Flum happy, I might have a glass.).

Shortly afterwards a new electric kettle arrived from Argos - we have managed with the whistling kettle for two weeks but apparently it is an expensive manner of heating water. It will be in quarantine for a day or so before the whistler is returned to the storeroom.

Altogether a good day. Cheers!
