Raindrops

1 ¾ inches of rain today gave an opportunity to photograph raindrops.

The following guidelines evolved: 1/50 shows streaks, 1/250 shows short dashes, 1/640 shows drops, 1/6400 stops drops and shows different size drops.

On the left this photo shows overflow from the gutter and normal open rain on the right.

The time has come to clean out the gutters!

Work continues on the Willcox Photo Shoot from Jan 19. To date the following birds are posted here: Sandhill Cranes, Pyrrhuloxia, Mexican Jay, Acorn Woodpecker, & White-crowned Sparrows. More woodland birds and water birds to follow as I classify them.
