Here & There

Day 14

It was forecast to rain this afternoon, so I made sure I got my exercise early - multiple climbs of North Head on my bike. We are lucky to have two small hills virtually on our doorstep, so with a few repeat circuits one can get a good workout while remaining local.
The image is of course a reflection of the harbour and city in a window - a window of the the old barracks building at the top. The barracks were built in 1885 as North Head was being developed with military fortifications, and then also used as a prison for a short time till 1914.
Day 14, and we are half-way through the "initial" lockdown.
