It's a rare sight to see .....

Yesterday when I was on the pack dog walk that we do at the weekends I espied a rare creature on Belhaven Beach, a sand yatchsman. Getting the right conditions for this sport is quite uncommon as you need a wind from the south that is keeping the sea calm, a receding tide with flat sands and enough windpower to power the yatch. It is only about once or twice a year we see sand yatching and that is usually in the summer. Leaving my dog to care of the other walkers I strode acroos the beach to catch a close-up of this rare creature. Fortunately for me he had a colourful rig and clothing.
