Dancing Daisies

Usual early start, such a lovely morning to wake up to.
When l was a teacher l had my alarm set for 5:15 am and liked  to leave the house within an hour , saw lots of lovely sunrises, crisp frosts and a whole heap of weather that l didn’t particularly enjoy.
I’m not a morning person by nature but over the years did come to appreciate them
When l retired l decided that l wouldn’t get up at that time again if it could be avoided ( except when we were at Abersoch, loved the sunrises there) but things have changed and l’m back to my early ways.
One advantage or disadvantage is that l now have a mid morning cuppa and a snack , reasoning that l’ve used more calories than l would have  if l’d spent an extra couple of hours extra in bed.
Coffee and toast with crunchy almond butter today, so good but l resisted the temptation to have another slice.
Did 2 x 10 minute gardening slots , don’t like to leave Mr P for longer.
Really do need to cut the grass as the daisies are up,  l really do love them.
Can’t do the job in ten minutes so will have to do it over a few hours.
Don’t have a compost bin anymore so that’s something else  to think about, mulch l suppose.
Did pick one daisy and here is the result.
Oh and l must tell you that my granddaughter’s dance teacher at Skipton is going to make 500 sets of scrubs for the NHS !
She is a dab hand on the sewing machine and can whip up tutus in a flash but what a superb effort, well done Miss Amy.
Thank you for the stars and hearts x
