Full moon over Minnis Bay, Kent

After several dull and overcast days at last the sun came out so we went for a walk along the North Kent coast on the Saxon Shore Way from Whitstable to Birchington - on - Sea catching the train back to Whitstable. A distance of over 13 miles.

Now there was abundant choice for blips of the day, but this one was the last photo of the day, approaching Minnis Bay at the end of the walk. A full moon hauled  itself out of the sea in front of us and disappeared behind a thin veil of cloud to reappear just at the right time.

Saw a Fieldfare for the first time, didn't know what it was until we looked it up back home.

Made a mistake buying the railway ticket back to Whitstable from the ticket machine, bought 2 returns at £3.50 each instead of singles. Went back to the machine to see how much a single would have been - £3.40! So wasted 20p there. What's going on?
