It's Oh So Quiet

Popped down to the West End this afternoon. It was very quiet.

Actually there were quite a few people about, mostly doing the social distancing moves. It's quite useful mrsfb having a walking stick now as everyone gives way. We had to jump out of the path of a runner though in a narrow alleyway, she wasn't going to stop for anyone.

Also noticed a few more cars about today, driving noticeably faster than they normally would. And two more empty buses.

The chemist was open and empty so I popped in for our repeat prescriptions. They had the counter space taped off so you couldn't approach. In France daughter#2 tells us they have a dispensing window, so you don't have to go into the shop.
