Were these towering memorial stones supposed to get you a few extra steps up the stairway to heaven, or just show the rest of the townsfolk how important you were?

A beautiful spring day, with more people and more traffic about, which doesn't bode well for the weekend. Highlight of the day was seeing a treecreeper in the cemetery, but before that it was getting a supermarket delivery, which then took me an hour to wash and put everything away, and five minutes to eat all the hot cross buns (except for the ones that B demolished).
