Kingdom of Rust

Ventured into the Big City to see Doves play at the Kentish Town Forum. Good venue. Band a bit rusty and ramshackle at first, but gradually warmed up (they have been away for three years), and before long were playing beautifully. The songs off the new album sound fantastic, especially Kingdom Of Rust, Jetstream and Winter Hill. Marvellous stuff. Just ever so slightly knackered now....
