Calling all angels

I moved my altar out of its dark, dusty corner today and laid it out front and center. I’m pulling out all the stops, sending blessings and prayers to the goddesses and deities for health and peace during Covid-time.

What does one pray for during a pandemic? A cure? That’s not likely anytime soon. Same for a vaccine. We need patience and peace, a steady hand at the helm, honesty, and the best minds working on solutions. The U.S. has a long way to go to achieve those goals, so Kwan Yin, Gaia, fairies, guardian angels, Mary: please! roll up your sleeves and help us clean up this mess! Note: I said, ‘Help us,’ not ‘Do the work for us.’ We have to roll up our sleeves too!
