A gift

Today I was given a copy of my Granny's recipe book. It has been professionally bound and given a hard back. It's all written in her handwriting and there are some great recipes here. (Lamb and Apricot being a particular family favourite)

She numbered each page, wrote out each one with ingredients and methods in full and created an index in the back. Started in 1936 at Bath Domestic Science College.

It's not a fantastic shot because I wanted to include a photograph of the author of this book. Thanks for being so organised Granny!
