Edinburgh Chap's Photos

In Honour of Mr Burns

We did the Burns Night thing in our house. Ignoring the protestations of not liking haggis, trying to sidestep racial slurs emanating from the swede/turnip debate, it was a political minefield.

Still, this bottle of Bruichladdich Rocks helped me through it. I normally like seriously peated whiskies, but Bruichladdich has a mellow intensity that makes it suitable for drinking all evening. And after I found a replacement supply in Sainsbury's, it's back on the tipple list.

Bruichladdich was one of the distilleries we visited while on Islay.
