How She Could Sing The Wildwood Flower *

Another quite mainly spent making plans, both to as to what to do duirng the lockdown and also afterwards, including what to plan and when in the garden.  

My main ambition this year is to successfully grow beetroot. I will also be sowing some widlflowers to help attract bees and butterflies.  However I need to be patient before sowing either as the growing season starts later up here and is shorter - this is illustrated by our daffodils which are only just coming into bloom. 

Our gardening tutor advises that we  should add on about a  month to what is printed on packets, which suggests later this month for the beetroot.
