This is new growth on a Redcurrant growing on the allotment next to mine. Around here it is unusual because it is being grown as a cordon-trained example.  

Each year the line of cordons produces a phenomenal amount to fruit and each year I tell myself to follow Bruce's example.  He has even offered me cuttings, but somehow it has never happened.  Maybe this autumn.

Take care everyone, but find something new to try.  :-)
