Stately as a galleon .....

.... this swan glided across the pond.

Cold and damp today so my warm trousers were back on ..... time they were put away till the autumn!

I had to find a new way into the Heritage Park .... all car parks closed. Only electric cars can go in to use the charging points.

I decided to park in Morrison's car park and walk to the pedestrian pathway which enters the park at the Nature Reserve end. It worked well, only a 5 minute walk, so I will certainly do it again. The weather was so dull and miserable I had the park to myself.

I was hoping that the swans might be busy nest building ..... not today anyway as you can see in the extra.
