We have a number of lovely works of art by Susan in the home. Some ceramic and some decorative glass like this. The abstract Thursday theme has a sub theme of Food, so I’ve altered the title of this piece accordingly ;)

In other news...

A few work phone calls to tidy up the week before the four day weekend took up the morning along with a delivery followed by a late lunch.

The delivery was the Monkey bars and swings which had been omitted when the castle tower, monkey bar, climbing frame, swing thingy first came. So the afternoon was filled with its assembly in between the intermittent screams of children at war or perhaps it’s play. It is now complete and I have secured my god like status in the eyes of my 4 year old Isabella for at least another few days perhaps a week.

We did find a few minutes to purchase online a rather wonderful Tortoise House for Rainbow Sparkles, although delivery will probably be in June. However, tomorrow I’ll be scouting the outbuildings for suitable materials for landscaping & decorating her future outdoor enclosure (which is still very much in the early planning stage in terms of layout and final location within the garden), so we can let her enjoy the outdoors and dig to her hearts content.
