Established, but out of sight.

Hellebore. How lovely is that? But for us it’s in the wrong place; we can’t enjoy it from the house (and we’re more indoors than out in the garden in Spring (except for gardening!)). So, splitting it is on the garden job list for September.

I’d a lovely phone conversation with a friend I’d worked with for a while. He’s a great guy. We’d lost touch. Life has moved on, but we’ve still got a lot in common.

I watched FMQs; first ever teleconference. Good effort. Some good news, but sadly more deaths.

Late afternoon walk, at one point past the prison. It reinforced the meaning of isolation from family, friends and society. A quiet walk.

Family FaceTime - some chat about diy haircuts they’d seen and of their Zoom/FaceTime quiz successes with friends. And of Skye, where we’d have been this evening if the current situation didn’t prevail. Also our older son and fiancé’s wedding is a year away today... so there was wedding talk.
