Spanish bluebells

I don’t know where they came from, but our garden has been taken over by Spanish bluebells. We used to have proper English bluebells, more delicate and an intense blue, but they have almost disappeared.
I started gardening early this morning and made quite an impression, very satisfying. It is really hot, just like a summer day. We were supposed to be heading off to the West Country, to stay in a Devon cottage with son and d.i.l and moving on to a few days with my sister. All cancelled of course, but we are so lucky to have our own home and garden for our confinement.
