Multi purpose

It's a multi purpose item. It can either be a headband, ear warmer or a neck warmer! I wanted to knit something different so came up with this. I'm on to something completely different now...! 

I've spent most of the last three days in the garden, and it's looking a lot better. Lots of tidying up and weeding, planting out of strawberry runners, applying blood, fish and bone meal to the tubs and borders and sowing more trays of seeds. 

It was my turn to go down to the village for the local paper, prescriptions and messages this week.  People phone their orders in beforehand, so we just collect and deliver them. Tricky keeping your distance in a small village shop, it ends up like an intricate dance! 

No new delivery slots from Tesco's for three weeks, so we are all letting each other know when we have an order coming and add to each others' lists. It's working well, there are lots of examples of pulling together going on just now, which is great to see. As elderly neighbours keep telling me, it's how it always used to be!
