Woodrow Is Back!

Since early March we've been anxiously waiting and hoping for the return of the Red Headed Woodpeckers to our backyard feeders.
And this morning we had our first sighting.
Love seeing these guys with that bright crimson head, unmistakable squawk, and active personality.
Fairly poor photo quality however as I was shooting through the screen on our back porch.

We’ve also had a wide variety of birds showing up which has been a pleasant distraction as we are all still on house arrest.
