Baked again

There's been quite a lot of reading done today, including sitting in the garden for much of it so that I am three quarters through my third lockdown book. And there was more baking of the seasonal kind today: an apple and ginger Simnel cake which didn't get too toasted. Bailey has kept me company and got a walk in the sunshine this evening as his reward.
